We are organizing a Special Issue entitled "Remote Sensing of Target Detection in Marine Environment" in the online journal, Remote Sensing (ISSN 2072-4292, IF 3.244, http://www.mdpi.com/journal/remotesensing). Remote Sensing is an open access journal, covered by leading indexing services, including the Science Citation Index Expanded (Web of Science), Scopus, Compendex/Engineering Village, among others. The latest Impact Factor for the year 2016 is 3.244, and the five-year impact factor is 3.749. Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes and an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 1800 CHF applies to accepted papers.
